Post 911 GI bill is awesome and thats something very useful to me when I left the Marine Corps they help you with Rent, pay tuition and grants for books!

Yeah you got to be extremely careful to what you enlist for. Especially in the marines, you are not guaranteed your job, and you have to make a tour first before you can do what you signed up for. It's a damn shame, but you have to research first. I've been in the FS program for the Army for 10 months so far, leaving this summer for OSUT, as a 19k M1 Abrams Tanker, I understand the risks, and will take them for such a unique experience that only 1% of the US citizens have experienced.

Don't sign up if you're not ready to kill people go in the military with the mind set that you wont be killed. just took my ASVAB got 80 !! MARINES !!
