great video, I'm locing my hair this weekend using the 2 strand method and I will be doing the same for my 9 year old who also has a head full of hair, so this was encouraging, thanks :)

what method did you use to start his dreads

@blackskataboy1 2strand twists, and ALOT of washing. We washed about 3x a week for the first 2-3months.

man i would love for my son to have locs but his hair grows so slow... plus his mother isn't a fan of the natural state... how long did it take Khalil's hair to loc

@MrMustbnice1 3-4 months for the initial loc'ing, and about 7-8 to be totally loc'ed.

I want to do my two year old but I am afraid that she will feel different. I am also afraid that if she doesnt like it she will have to shave her head... what do you think?

@BlaqueWoods MY feelings..... Kids will like whatever you show them is likable. Little girls want straight hair usually because mommy has it. Why would the opposite be different. Raise your child to be self-confident in their own individuality and beauty, and nothing else will matter
