  • Thanks Carlos for your comments, my understanding of your language is not very good but I guess you like the video clip.

  • Thanks Guys, I am rather please with that one particularly as I managed to edit out the over enthusiastic zoom as she went away.

  • I was on this train yesterday - really glad someone has posted a video - it's an angle you obviously miss being on it. I've posted some pics on my flickr page - photos/cheekablue - and linked to your video. Also included a couple of my own videos I took leaning out of the train window (naughty me) - not appearing in the YouTube search right this minute. One is taken going over the Ribbleshead viaduct.

  • Thanks, I took shots from 2 other locations, one between Preston and Lancaster and the other on Shap. They will be out on DVD later in the year in a North West steam compilation.

  • Nice video, she seemed to take an age to come past you.

  • Yes I heard her coming and started recording, then the sound faded and then came back. I ended up editing about 30 seconds off the start.

  • Nice work ralph5407! Shame I was away at the time though; would have loved to see 6233 passing through my hometown of St Helens. Keep it up!

  • Thanks Ralph. Excellent loco and filming. I wasn't around this weekend so it's good to see and hear her. If only you could manage the smell as well ... Chris

  • Good one, Ralph. Well shot and well edited. And in glorious WideScreen, too!
