Thanks for the comments. The Rio Hondo is a tributary of the L.A. River which eventually empties into the Pacific Ocean at Long Beach. The trail continues all the way from Arcadia to Long Beach. An even longer bike path exists on the shoulder of the San Gabriel River that is about 40 miles from the mountains to Seal Beach. I have ridden both. The San Gabriel is more "scenic" and we have seen more diverse wildlife from vultures to egrets to coyote to pelicans, etc. Thanks again for the feedback.

What a great use of the access roads along the wash! And some nice red-shouldered hawk calls in the video, too!
