Day Twenty-One: "I can't breathe...without you."

Owen, along with Callie, Derek, Mark & Meredith work on the trauma case of a John Doe who saved a woman from being hit by a bus. Cristina and Derek give Izzie post-op care after brain surgery to remove a second tumour caused by her stage 4 metastatic melanoma. This is the last Cristina & Owen Day video until September. How will it all end? You have to watch and see.

Personal Notes:

Thank you to everyone who watched my Cristina & Owen Day videos these past months and thank you to everyone who commented and rated them. I decided to make them before the season premiere had even finished airing. I was blown away by both Major Owen Hunt and Sandra & Kevin's chemistry in that first episode, so much so that I panicked when Owen did not reappear in the following one. I emailed ABC right away and wrote, "He's coming back, right? You all saw what I saw...right?" Then I heard he was signed for a handful of episodes. "Oh that is not going to work at all. You have to get that boy signed in blood".

I am not a techie, but I learned a few more things from making these videos, so hopefully I am getting better at it. More than once I would have emailed YT (if that was possible) and begged for the ability to upload longer videos...just a 'little' bit longer please. Quite regularly, I would go a little nuts before the final edits, believing that it simply was not possible to edit them any further and yet somehow they always got finalized. The hardest part was always cutting stuff I really liked. A recent example...Justin Chambers just rocked the house, rocked the house people in recent episodes but these videos are about Cristina & Owen's journey, so I fought the urge to include more of Justin's recent awesomeness. At times, I fight the same urge with Bailey, as she is my favourite character...in my head I already have her dating next season! Lastly, I want to thank three people. Thank you Shonda Rhimes for hiring Kevin McKidd. Seriously, thank you! Without that decision, we would have no Cristina & Owen. Hard to imagine right now?! Most of all, thank you to Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd for making me fall in love with Major McManly & Dr. Yang before the season premiere had even finished airing.

I hope everyone who reads this spends the summer in health and to all the girls, I hope a guy kisses you this summer like Owen Hunt would! :) tgwiatcc

This season 5 is so incredible and so are your videos! Thank you for posting them and making me love Owen & Cristina...I never was a fan of Greys Anatomy, but now I am. Here in Germany we are a little bit behind and just had day 10 last week. So I can't wait for the next few wednesday nights and the lovestory yet to develope....

at 09:16 , when Meredith realizes that John Doe is George. That reaction is probably the best piece of acting she has done in the entire series. She looks so surprised, she even surprised the hell out of me...

And is it just me, or did O'Malley look really good with his hair high and tight (army-style for all you civilians outthere...).
