New York band Certain General performs "Voodoo Taxi" at the Pyramid Club on Ave. A in New York in the summer of 1984. This song appears on the 1984 LP/CD "November's Heat".
I saw this band alot down in the EV in the early 80's. CBGB, Pyramid, Danceteria. They seemed to own the pool table at a little bar called Lucy's, I think, on Ave A bet 9th & 10th. One of the best shows ever was when they ended a Danceteria show with their boys, the Band of Outsiders, onstage with them. Talk about a wall of sound.
Damn, I have a live reording of this song...I played it to death. "The Shang" was also on the ep. Another killer song.
