Pedram is a great guy, a great teacher and one of the best percussionists I've heard. If you're curious about his work u should check out some Kayhan Kalhor and Ross Daly albums. He also has a percussion group.
But if you're really interested, he will be giving a seminar at the Labyrinth Musical Workshop from the 7th-12th of August in Crete, Greece

thanks for your comment. i don't know much about pedram khavar-zamini. do u have some of his works that you could possibly send me?
i know at some point he was a very good student, but then what i hear from rajabi about pedram is not good. he has not been loyal to rajabi's maktab and himself, and has done things to hurt him etc...

can u tell me more about what rajabi told u? as far as i know rajabi didn't like some innovations (polyrhythm's ect) that pedram applied on the tombak, so maybe what he told u is a by-product of the clash between "old" and "new", traditionalism and modernity.
