simply a test of the Archos camera and 405 PVP. Just a bit of south Dublin. No fancy riding here, but come Saturday and decent weather in Wicklow...

Quality is actually better than that. I better look into it later.

  • VRSCR is a great bike...

dont you think traffic in Dublin is getting worst lately ? people seem less patient and more nervous...

    take care and drive safe!

  • It certainly seems to be getting worse. Thanks for the comment.

  • Damn,at 5.27 I thought that car was going to pull out in front of you ! Yeah cool,i was thinking about getting the helmet cam for my Archos 605,kinda pricey though but quality looks ok,considering youtube have downsized your video file !! Whats the quality like on the raw file ?

  • The raw file is 1/3 bigger and even in reduced size to upload to Youtube, it seems to be of better quality. Once on Youtube it seems to lose some definition. The 405 is possible a better idea costing c. 150 Euros - less in the US, though it only has about 2 gigs, tho that can be expanded with a card. The quality is middling, a Sony still cam of mine (Cybershot) can get better quality tho only can record for ten minutes. It also looks weird stuck to the helmet.

  • Well I bit the bullet and bought one for my 605. Got a decent price on it too compared to what most of them are asking for them on eBay etc. havent tested it out yet but will get round to it soon !

  • You should find it to be a good camera. If I posted a shorter video, I probably could have kept the original file size and quality. There are better cameras, but the price is keen and the Archos player itself is good.

  • Blackrock, Dublin, and thereabouts, mostly on the Rock Road. Quinn Direct is my insurer. I like my bike a lot, I should shortly be getting a Tab fuel system and slash cut pipes, a little power, but more for the aural improvements. What would be your main gripe with Carole Nash? I never much liked them, myself, rip-odd merchants, when I had an old bike with them.

  • Sweet bike man, were bouts were you riding?? who you insured with (if u dont mind me askin) please dont say carolenash!
