  • I took Jazz and Tap with Phil Black on Friday nights at his studio and then Saturday with Al Greiner. Irene Cara's mom talked my mom into putting me into his classes as I was primarily a ballet dancer (danced at the Met with the Royal Ballet for 2 years). Phil always used to call me "the ballerina". Can't forget the drums or the stick. LOL He was the best teacher ever those were days I will never forget!

  • phil black is amazing!
