  • Poor Hoyt Curtin. He doesn't get a credit.

I don't recall this ending at all. I guess it's some later syndicated version that omits any Ideal Toys credit.

  • The theme song i got on a CD on TV announcer had said. A SCREEN GEMS PRESENTATION.

  • @BadNews88 I agree that the Dancing Sticks logo is ugly and uninspiring. but the DeVol fanfare is contagious.

  • Terry, you've got me all wrong.

I'm just correcting you in regards to the composer's name.

It is DeVol. Also, I was merely inquiring how you know for sure

that it was DeVol, especially since most people don't know WHO

composed the "Dancing Sticks" theme, and also I heard it was

ANOTHER composer from a conversation I had years ago.

I just want to know where you got the info. No harm, no foul.

    Relax. It's just me.

  • @DLCOrganization let's try taking ourselves a little less seriously, okay buddy?

  • Just for the record, Terry -- his name is Frank DeVOL.

Also, how do you know it was DeVol who composed the Dancing Sticks theme?

    > Professor DLC

  • @ottrr been there/done that with viewing sig themes in a darkened room when i was a kid!!.....great memories!!...when ya think about it, the Dancing Sticks were soooooo mid '60's, in both design and music(with Frank DeVoe composing that music, how can ya miss??)....definitely a creation of its time!!.......

  • @DLCOrganization yeah, ol' Frank DeVoe certainly earned his pay when he composed that sig music!!

  • funny how the sig theme/animation is the element of this clip that elicits the most comments!!......i remember it quite clearly from when i was a kid(yes, i'm THAT old), as well as the logo that SG created a couple of years later--the infamous S From Hell!!.....sig themes are easy to take for granted when they're initially presented on TV, but it seems that they never really leave our memories as the years go on

  • Steve erwin clothes#

  • That is a VERY rare Screen Gems logo.

  • I got that thing he sent me.
