it’s really annoying how the guy keeps linking himself to Noam Chomsky- when you and I participated in peace movement or when you and I were teaching in the classroom. Ok got it you also were part of it but Chomsky is not mentioning his contribution for the sake of showing how active or responsible he was but rather to make his argument while you’re just showcasing yourself. Really annoying

All need to start downloading this stuff if they dont have it in their personal library, because it may very soon just disappear. As the heat from OWS grows and the US aggressive world dominator stance towards countries that disobey its orders, like Iran, Syria, Pakistan, China, Russia, [Libya & Iraq done already] and others, leads it to doing REALLY STUPID things before the global depression it created depletes the military, gov't will totally take over all comms in the US, bar earshot etc.

@InternetPolice1000 What is frightening is that the US Govt is legally on the verge of taking down whatever they like off youtube and other sites, will also be able to block out using ISP filers any whistleblower sites, humanitarian organizations' websites, you name it. They will be able to erase Noam Chomsky from internet history, block his books from all major retail outlets + many minor ones. The only thing left is public libraries and they are being crushed/shutdown too!

I think my friend Noam needs to update some of his information on population effects on the environment. Hans Rosling on TED is an eyeopener.

There's definitely a sizeable proportion of the British and American populations that are only as interested in the rest of the world as they have to be for their own self-interest, and the proportion of that kind of person, for geographical and historical reasons, is larger in the US. You have to remember that the UK is an island culture - few if any cultures around the world share its beliefs and values. The USA, deriving from it, has in turn been called a continent behaving like an island.

@Lamboragon Unhindered free-market capitalism = slavery
Men like Noam Chomsky are only appreciated when they have passed on. People in goverment while he is alive will never promote such a man or his ideals. To do so would be political suicide. One of the greatest minds of my life time.
