Christians & Halloween

Just my personal opinion of Halloween and why as a Christian I dont celebrate it. Sorry if I came across a tad "harsh" seeming lol I was focused on something, and yeah more or less, this is the result... I promise im a nicer person than that! ;)

Halloween is a day that witches sacrife people and praise Satan, it is an evil day.

If only people knew the truth when they send children out in devil masks etc.

and as far as human sacrifice goes I think missionaries and the spanish inquisition and current war in the middle east between jews and muslims have done an AMAZING job of that on their own in the name of Jesus. the street goes both ways people. If you're going to talk ab the history of another religion you must also look at the history of your own.

witches do not believe in satan so they certainly do not worship him. and they never sacrificed people. were their other cultures that did? yes. but witches were NOT one of them. I really wish people knew the actual story of witches based on actual historical fact instead of propaganda. the witch of endor is in the Bible afterall. and as for that you shouldn't celebrate Christmas either, since that was originally the pagan holiday of Yule. spread love not H8.

Halloween was originally a pagan holiday before it was christianized like most holidays celebrated in America so it's perfectly fine that you don't celebrate it.

@williamsfilms1 Actually, All Hallow's Eve, Halloween, was originally the day before the praying for the recently deceased who have yet to reach Heaven, those who are in purgatory. It is not a day for worshiping Satan.Please read the Wikipedia page about it, as this holiday is obviously Christian, Catholic at the time, in it's origins.

halloween is not a christian holiday..so if you feel uncomfortable with it, you should probably not celebrate it. but also, respect those of us who do and don't refer to us as evil. we are not..we just believe differently. blessed be

"witches" is the title given to those who practice the wicca religion. we do not believe in the christian version of god..so therefore...we do not believe in satan. and yes, before i am attacked i know there are different variations of wicca..wow..lots. but MY particular coven does not believe in the christian devil. and halloween is a sacred day to remember the dead..not evil in any way. our rede states "an it harm none, do what ye will" very peaceful religion. we don't judge others. blessed be

Satan is the opposite of God. God is light, truth, etc. & Satan is darkness and lies.

Meaning when you deal in Satanic matters you deal with deception and lies and darkness, not with light, truth, and revelation.

All fools who turn to Satan become deceved & are in darkness.

Have you heard God is light, so what is Satan?
