I really wanted to explain what I was doing with a voice over but sometimes being on Linux makes my life harder and I have sound issues so I was not able to record that. Sorry !

Here is a fun and simple technique using masking fluid as a resist (i don't recommend you the Pebeo one I have, it stinks and is not that good. But it is cheap...) with some watersoluble crayon Neocolor II from Caran D'ache, and then some PanPastel.

I hope you enjoyed watching it ♥

  • cool! i've never used masking fluid before, looks fun!

  • @marizateria I am pretty sure you would love it :D But it does not work with acrylic unless it is diluted

  • Cool technique! The only thing I don't have is the masking fluid. I see a trip to the art store in my future. Thanks for sharing.

  • @kimmerbe Tell me how it went (and there is always a good excuse to go to an art store :D)

  • What a fun idea; I have to try this! I don't have any panpastels - are they nice to use? They are really expensive here [in the UK]. x

  • @onelittlehouse Hey Jeanette ! I just LOVE the PanPastels, you can do so many different cool techniques with them... I have a set of 5 (the basic colors), do you want it ? i barely used it because i fell in love and then started to buy them individually, so i have the colors in double.
