he didnt touch the puck yet. that makes it interference. doenst matter if he was going towards the puck, he actually has to touch it. and at the replay at 0:18 its pretty clear he didnt touch it.

interference? are you kidding me. the kid was going towards the puck to play it after his teammate dropped it off. There's no interference there. he was going to go after the puck and saw the kid coming. Do agree that its probably not the cleanest hit....little bit of a cross check.
