"Did you meet your stars?"
"No, not really.. I don't want to. Music is enough for me."
Such a great guy, such a great guy.

@yobhsiFehT juxtaposition was the word that sprang to mind for me!
-
My thought exactly! The interviewers are quite an odd juxtaposition too. Kinda gross, actually... :S

seriously, who the hell wants to see that fool dancing around on a chair when we could be watching mr. lamontagne being interviewed? you're the man ray!!
-
I love Ray LaMontagne, but Im so tired of hearing that everyone is influenced but Dylan, Young, and Mitchell. I respect those artists but Jesus what about Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, Tim buckley. There are so many artists that were more original than these status quo choices. There is no originality left in music today. No one is pushing the creative envelope.

@mosessumney I don't think he's awkward - he's just himself and not shallow at all.
-
The interviewers are terrible, they don't seem to know his music, what category he was in, who he is, and why do they cut away to all these other people instead of keeping the video on Ray? Weird.

This guy deserves his Grammy. His music is so much better than the crap we have on the radio these days...

Oooh Ray!!!
He is the Most Wonderful and Fascinating person !!! He seriously takes my Breath Away!

Who is the dumbass on the right interviewing? braindead!
How odd listening to someone so humble and down to earth like Ray LaMontagne, while watching some self-absorbed dude posing for pictures. Wish they'd have just shown Ray while he was talking. This guy is truly a breath of fresh air, and one of the best song writers/poets of all time.
