A convoy of French riot police known as the CRS is seen here making its way through central Paris near the George Pompidou Center. Keep your eye on the Fiat 500.

Convoi de CRS dans la rue de Renard près du Beaubourg. Regardez bien la Fiat 500.

  • Riot police? Why don't they have metal sheets protecting the windows from being smashed?

  • @SH3RIFF187 The metal "sheets" or protective screens are only mounted during riots. When driving around town they are normally stored in trailers which are pulled by one or two of the vans. Have another look and you'll see the trailers in this video. The A-pilars of the vans have mounting brackets for the screens.

  • Merci à la petite Fiat 500 qui a eu la gentillesse de se pousser ! Ah ces Parisiens !

  • @MrStaxxy Oh, hm...I don´t like french cars anyway ;)

But the blue lights are definately old ^.^

  • @AllrounderNo1

Very ? Only 5 years or so...

  • Very old cars...

  • @code3paris Cheers for the quick response. On the vans around where I live, they are mounted above the window and they slide down when responding to a riot.

  • VERY GOOD

  • @04smallmj there is a parking I guess :)
