  • One thing I would add about shorts is that you should avoid ones with cargo-type pockets that stick out. These have a lot of wind resistance that can slow down your momentum. I also would not recommend shorts with draw string adjustment. These strings often break after a time, leaving you with shorts that sag on your butt.
