  • this guy knows what he's talking about, he's now spewing random knowledge. the way that he connects the pieces of information that he delivers, show you that he has a bigger picture, and that he knows where he's going with the material. he's not reciting any textbook, and i haven't seen him (yet at least) going over notes during lectures. it seems that he really breathes this. i am addicted to the clarity in the way that he passes the knowledge over to you, and the profoundness and rigorous.

  • can't wait for the rest!

  • i am a tenured materials science and engineering faculty member at a renowned US university and found the need recently to bone up on my QM. prof. balakrishnan's lectures combined with nouredine zetilli's text have been my ticket to quick grasping (renewal in my case) of fundamentals. these lectures have been done with amazing clarity. i wish i had taken my QM from prof b in my undergraduate/graduate career. such an elegant lecturer.

  • @xIndca prof.balakrishnan is one of the genius intellects of physics in india...all the bigger universities are ready to pay huge amounts for his presence...and i found he is a man never fond of money or anything like that..he is beyond luxury and under humanity...i met him once in life and got 3 lectures live...a great person and scientist

  • @cythobst Absolutely agree, he seems to have a very clear understanding of the material. Not only the definitions and mechanics, but also the relation thereof. He's possibly the best physics lecturer I have ever seen.

  • He is almost too good! I had a prof like that in graduate school call Dorfman: he deluded you into believing that you knew it all!!

Prof. Balakrishnan is very good--- the right mixture of rigour and practical math for average physicist.

  • Hey thanks for contributing helpful content. We'll be featuring intelligent and helpful people like yourself on our network. Drop me a line if you'd like to collaborate on any topic, and have a chance to be featured on our channel.

  • @bluesrunthegame becoz its quantum physics...before every measurement there is a chance to get any of the eigen values that vector state can give..only after the measurement the system collapses to a single eigen state...also only one eigen state is goeng to be eigen value every time..so we have to consider all the possible eigen values..thanks

  • lovely lectures!

(but the momentum operator in x-space "derivation" at the end is more than troublesome/hand waving. I just want to point it out that it can be derived more rigorously as well)

  • I have to shit.
