  • Ringo Starr and Buck Owens are the only two people who did this song well

  • @onelasssttime Buck Owens NEVER drank....When you consider he had throat cancer and part of his tongue removed then you might hit a little closer to home.

  • @802Kevin He also undergone throat cancer surgery in 1993

  • @802Kevin That's true. When he wanted to unwind he did it with women. One of the greatest womanizers in country music, for sure.

  • IT TAKES GUTS TO FUCK UP A SONG YOU WROTE YOURSELF - ROFL!

RIP - BUCK, WE MISSES YA!

    NOW SOMEBODY KICK DWIGHT'S 50LB, NOSE-SANGIN' ASS OFF THE STAGE - ;^)

  • I don't listen to country. In fact, I hate country. Buck Owens is above country. He's his own genre. I'm fortunate enough to have opened my mind to his art. When i'm stuck on the 101 in the San Fernando Valley during a hot summer afternoon, I put on Buck and all is well.

  • Is Bucks guitar plugged into something? Dont see no cable.

  • Buck was an Admiral in the TEXAS NAVY thats similar to a Kentucky Colonel ha ha

  • Two great talents - and country as it used to be. Wonderful to see.

I met Buck in the UK years ago - a truly great artist and a sad loss to country when he passed away.

Good on you, Dwight, for keeping his music alive.

  • @kentucky9000 Not true at all. He never served in the military. Alvis Edgar Owens, Jr. (he was nicknamed Buck to distinguish 'Jr.' from 'Sr.') dropped out of school at age 15 to help support the family, Before he was 21, he was married and living on the west coast, eventually settling in Bakersfield, CA.

Nine years and several records later, in 1959, he had his first hit with "Second Fiddle". They didn't stop until Don Rich's 1974 death effectively brought an end to Buck's career as a singer.
