Cayla March 5, 2010

Layla visits Cristian to bring him the lunch he left behind at home on his first day of school. She assumes he was the one who broke their framed photo but he informs her that Jessica was responsible and had stopped by their house the day before. He had failed to tell Layla about it because he knew Jessica was embarrassed enough. Layla decides to put a new frame on their photo on their lunch break. When Cristian explains that Jessica is still suffering from amnesia and believes he is still her boyfriend and exhibiting high school behavior, Layla offers to downplay their relationship or use discretion until Jessica can adjust. Cristian objects and says he empathizes with Jessica but he is proud of her and proud of them and would rather not hide it. Layla leaves early with the promise of cooking a special dinner to celebrate his first day on the job and Cristian thanks her for understanding.

Jessica spends the morning at home in the library quizzing Natalie about Cristian and scouring through their old high school yearbook photos. Jessica explains that she dropped by Cristian's house and threw herself at him which she realizes might upset his girlfriend. Natalie advises her not to worry because Layla will understand. Jessica realizes Natalie knows Cristian and asks him for more information about what he has been up to since high school. Before she can answer, Viki interrupts and Jessica heads upstairs so she can sneak out. She arrives in Cristian's class and announces she has enrolled herself in his class and throws an apple at him.

Brody and Charlie bond over their unfortunate misery and Brody vows not to give up on Jessica. Layla runs into Brody at the Buenos Dias cafe again and tells him Jessica showed up at their house but not to worry because Cristian won't allow Jessica to get the wrong idea.

HOLD THE PHONE!!!!!!! Did they really PHOTOSHOP a picture of Cris and Layla together? Are you kidding me?!?!? That is a picture of Layla from 2006 - She wore that outfit at the gala that Cristian and Evangeline also attended. They couldn't get Tika and David to do a photoshoot together? I am just floored right now......Now that I've vented, thank you so much for posting the video!

@ebonyeyes1984 LOL, this is funny to me that this is such a BIG deal but David and Tika DID a photoshoot together at the Go Red Ball last year so it's not like they didn't have access to a beautiful POSED photo of them. The question is WHY use that pose? They have 3 official poses of Layla and Cristian at both Go Red Balls and Adriana's wedding. But they inserted Cristian in her sister's place. I don't know what that means but I wouldn't make fun of the photo under those circumstances.

Layla's giving Jessica way too much leeway. Amnesia or not, if I was her, I would make it loud and clear to Ms. Jessica that this is not the past and Cristian is not available in anyway shape or form.

Yeah, for someone who was in the fashion industry why do they keep putting her in ugly ugly clothes? There are a few hits in the pile of misses but she's too beautiful and young for the clothing choices that are made for her.

Some of these dresses she's been wearing for months, she's got a great figure and I don't know why they make her dress in these poofy dresses so much...They have better clothes for her.

@alecniles, No Tika is not pregnant. The dress is poofy but she's still the same size. There is nothing different about her nose or face.

Off the subject, but is Tika still with Federico Pilurzu? He is gorgeous and they make a good looking couple.

Well I haven't heard anything about Layla AKA Tika Sumpter being pregnant and until it is verified I will believe Layla isn't pregnant. Don't get me wrong I am waiting for the day when Laylay is pregnant with Cris's child. I definately would love to see a Layla pregnacy storyline but Layla still looks the same to me. I mean she still looks the same size and the way she did when she first came to Llanview. Layla just likes to wear big clothes. Then again who knows!!

I think Layla keeps wearing frumpy dresses because the actress might be pregnant in real life. Look at how her nose has spread. She is much bigger than when she first started. She used to look like a super model. Now she looks like a Mommy to be. I still love Cayla though. I bet their next story line will include pregnancy. Because her face looks like the face of pregnant woman.
