The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened")

Now tell me why the fuck would I call a bunch a fat stupid bald bullies "The Enlightened Ones". Even if these stupid "powers that be" called themselves "The Illuminati" without promoting any kind of Enlightenment like the Original Illuminati did, then the description of themselves is invalid.

Interesting. I like to think of the Illuminati as anyone in big business who is a greedy fuck. If you are in a position to help people and you decide to fuck them over instead (for extra money), then you are illuminati. If you understand that we can make all our fuel from a plant called cannabis which can also cure cancer when you extract the therapeutic compounds from it (cannabinoids) ... and you look at how it is outlawed and condemned ... what say you? @Hemptastic47 I understand that it is used as the generic term to describe them, but the word ILLUMINATI means the enlightened ones, so the label is wrong to put on them. In other words, they don't deserve that title at all. Call them by any other name but not Illuminati, even if they call themselves that. We are the Illuminati, not they, or them.
