I was with a friend and the exact same thing happened at the same spot. He launched his boat and when he started forward his truck lost traction even though he just barely stepped on the gas. The wheels were going forward, but the truck and trailer just kept slidding backward. We had to dive under water to connect the tow chain. Also the wheels of the trailer got caught on the end of the ramp so we had to dive under and lift the trailer up as it got pulled out. It sucked.

Why the fuck would you hook it up to the brush guard?!

@dnahoghunter if that was the issue, why didnt you guys pull it a little bit, unhook, then rehook to the tow hooks? wouldve saved the brush guard.

Because he had to pull the tow hooks off the front to install the ugly brush guard.

@hyboost naaa because the tow hooks were blocked by the cement at the end of the ramp. Theres a sign says ramp ends
