I get sick of some people saying De Niro plays the same in every movie. So I guess Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear, The King of Comedy, and The Godfather Part II are all the same roles?! Forget about it.....

@ivangrozny27 Don't feel bad for Lefty,he got off lightly compared to Sonny Black.Although the film strongly hints Lefty gets whacked,in fact the FBI swooped in and saved him and he ended up going to jail instead.

@dLimboStick If it is referring to $100, then I think only in this script because I've never heard it elsewhere. And it doesn't sound right to go from Benjamin > Beaner. Maybe Ben or even Benny, but not Beaner.

@DonSvenneProduction Nope. As sure of yourself as you sound, you'd be incorrect. He says "Beaner on the outside." Bean is a slang term for one-dollar bill. It wouldn't even make sense, what you said. He's telling the guy to be safe with his money, so he's not gonna tell him to keep the big bills revealed.

the ending is so tragic. Even though Benny was a murderer himself, it's hard not to feel something for the guy.
