  • -Carrying "5-10 crates" from club to club every night is a DRAG!

-Serato allows you to transport hundreds/thousands of songs, samples, random audio WITH NO PrObLeM. This audio can then be cued and ready to go with a touch of a button. (I said cued, not mixed, or played!)

-Serato only adds to the DJ game, the thing it takes away from djing is the hassle for "us" DJs who have more gigs then days in the yr!

-SERATO uses "rEaL" records the "feel" isn't lost.

-STONE AGE is over, ITS 2008!

  • Did you get this sorted? What else is the mac running?

  • i use serato digital dj software with the sl1 interface box.

it connects at usb 1 standard.

after buying the dv7-4040sa i experienced problems with my serato where i would recieve a usb buffer warning and my audio from the sl1 box stops playing, and as a working dj this is a bit embarressing to say the least.

when i unplug and re-plug the sl1 interface back in all is fine for a short time, then it happens again.

  • good video!!!

  • I have the same problem with my Serato. I've tried to do a half hour mix, and as soon as I scratch, it starts to crackle and pop and drop our heavily!!!!!!

  • Do they have leopard for Vista user. I have a 4G new laptop and my dropouts are major. I have to move my USB buffer setting all the way to the right end, and that lowers my latency and fucks up my scratches. HELP!!!

  • "A" set, no not "A" set.... Try 9 clubs a week, plus on air shows on 2 radio stations every friday! Ha ha, please!

  • you're a bit goofy if you are hauling more than 80-100 records with you which the last time I went out and played earlier in this month was pretty easy to get in and out of the airplane overhead compartment with no complaints from security split between two record bags, one being a shure (which will hold upto 70 easily) and a bag I got in london at cyberdog which seals up pretty tight and does about 50.

Now what moron needs 200 records to play for 2 hours -the typical DJ set at a party or club?

  • mixer runs on own power. thanxs anyways
