  • Is this ROTC? Why the hell do they have BloodStripes? They don't rate that yet, why do they have it on?

  • That's what the USMC gives them to issue to cadets once they become an NCO.

  • Believe me, we have tons of ribbons *L* Just a preference during competition whether you want to wear them or not. I think this is the only time we didn't. There are a few schools that never wear their ribbons during drill meets. It makes the team look more uniform AND saves their butts during inspection if they're asked but can't remember what a certain ribbon stands for, (although our guys have never had that problem.)

  • cool, i had a competition at carson city california and recieved 8th place on armed drill team. 65 school competed

  • We got second place for this performance and took first place overall for the entire meet. Funny cuz we just went to this meet again yesterday, 4/25/09 and took another first place overall for the third year running :)

  • Let me expand on this. The answer depends..see, if you're given a command like "Take the floor", you'd reply "Aye aye, sir." If you ask to take the floor, and they respond, 'Permission granted' or something similar, you'd say, "Thank you, Sir." Does that make it clearer?

  • what place did you guys get...

  • Either one is acceptable in competition

  • isnt it "aye aye sir" instead of thank you sir?

  • Hoorah Cadets
