PMDG Boeing 737-800 NGX performs a CAT3A autoland at Manchester Airport (EGCC) in visibility of 200m. Also included in the video is the initial approach. This aircraft is great to fly, some of the best features are shown, including the VSD (vertical situation display) and EGPWS Terrain feature on the ND (navigation display) as well as the perfectly executed autoland. If you can offer any improvements for my videos please comment, thanks for watching!

  • How did you program an approach as good as that into the FMC? I struggle setting up approaches :(

  • @MrRazorHybrid Just go to the DEP/ARR page and select the approach you want :) Refer to my NGX tutorial series episode 6 onwards for more info.

  • hey i had a problem, i was on a good position, and a perfect line on the runway but when it was about to touch down, the autopilot switched off, and it was really close to the ground and it went out of controlled, please help me :(

  • @CODLoLzYeAh I'll try, have you seen my tutorial and followed everything on there firstly? :)

  • @FSXpilot767 yeah i did

  • @CODLoLzYeAh ok well many things could be wrong so have you looked in the NGX forums? I need more information as to exactly what you do, message me if there isn't enough space here :)

  • @rockonmario Yes, good information, i didn't know that. Thank You.

  • @rockonmario autobraking was deactivated, sorry. I mispoke!

  • @GoodMuslim77 Nope, the yellow warning indicated that manual braking had been used, therefore manual braking was deactivate. The switch remains to that position, until it's changed manually.

  • @FSXpilot767 not at all, I was just pointing out what wasn't done and explained in a little detail what should be done. Trust me, during the flight school we were criticized like you could not imagine ^_^
