So this is part of a series of animations I made back in high school that won the state-wide animation competition in Spring 2006 (each of which had to fall under certain limits, explained below). The quality isn't professional. After all, it was completely done by me in a short time span in high school, so I think it's pretty good all things considered. I'm currently in college working on a degree in 3D art and technology.
Alright, this is the big months-long project that I worked on my senior year. This category was "3 minute open", where the max time was 3 minutes, and it could be about anything. I decided to do a scene involving a malicious spider, and figured what better way to give judges the creeps than have him attack a sleeping man. The spider had a total of about 28 separate joints that I had to manipulate manually for each and every shot. So it was a TREMENDOUS pain in the butt, given the length of the video. Aside from 1-2 glaring mistakes, I think it came out looking quite well.
what about the music? shouldent you have put borris thhe spider?
