Rosa Henderson "Nobody Knows the Way I Feel 'Dis Mornin'" This is some real moaning blues when female blues singers ruled the day. However Rosa's career was very short and she retired in the late 20's and worked in a department store. Her records are very much sought after today. Recorded February 19th 1925 on the Vocalion label. Another gem I can't trust to the Victrola - only the Lenco for this baby.

  • Some of my records were ruined by my Victor. I have a Califone.

  • A lesson hard learned. I only hope that more people would realize that Victrolas belong in a museum for demonstrating common/unimportant discs.

  • 'can't trust to the Victrola'?? how can you say that??? no, no im just kidding, i understand completely, everytime i get a new acoustic its to the usb turntable to be digitized! Love those old vocalions!

  • Thank you! I only wish more people would do a little research before puting their 78s under the spike. These records need to be preserved. Only my junky or common discs go to the Victrola for demos.

  • WOW~ I feel so honoured to have found you and this beautiful recording! My heart is full and grateful!

    I am feeling the blues~

  • Thank you. Glad you appreciate this. Peace.
