Please read the description!

Calm down.
I know that there is no music track called "Yggdrasil" on the Soundtrack. I named it that because on most versions of this soundtrack, the music during the end credist is MISSING as in: not part of the soundtrack. It IS on some versions of the soundtrack though, but labeled wrong. Most of you guys can find it as "Thor kills the destroyer", while the real music track during the destroyer scene is not part of the soundtracks AT ALL. Believe me, I checked.
Most soundtracks have a track called "Earth to Asgard" as Title 24 (the last track on the soundtrack album), but that is not the music from the credits, it's a remix of "Prologue" from the beginning of the movie.
See where I am going with this?

These are the real end credits and since we get to see Yggdrasil while the virtual camera flies through the stars, I called it that.

Cheers.

Why yes, I am a soundtrack nerd XD I've been a member of a symphonic orchestra for years, so I am biased. Sue me :P

  • This is actually on the soundtrack under Thor Kills The Destroyer. Just thought I'd throw that out there....

  • @Soysauceb4ketchup >.< Could you people please read the video description before posting that? I am aware of this. It is still a fluke, since what they present you as "Thor kills the destroyer" is not the music track playing during the destroyer scene. It's the end credits. Both music tracks only share the first few seconds, then they are different. The music during that scene is not on the soundtrack at all. So they basically screwed up twice in that department.

  • I'd give my right arm to play the drums and percussions in this XD

  • This track is actually called "Thor Kills the Destroyer" on the OST. Only the first 10 seconds are in the film where Thor actually kills the Destroyer. The rest is an awesome mix that I uploaded ;)

  • @DinoDude65 Well that depends on what version of the OST you have. There are 4 versions of the soundtrack album floating around, be it retail or itunes. On the version I have, this is labeled "Thor kills the destroyer" (I explained all this in the video description...) while "Earth to Asgard" is a remix of "prologue". On some versions, this piece is missing entirely. Be it as it may, these are the unedited, original end credits of the movie as they were on my version of the OST. No remix :)

  • Epic , God of the Thunder !

  • Quite possibly the best ending credits theme I've heard ever. It really is too bad this isn't on the OST. Maybe its on the score? This is the second biggest OST fail behind the Sunshine one. Can't believe they botched the Adagio in that one... It was the only song anyone even wanted -.-
