My daughter's starter locs

This is how I started my daughter's locs. I started her locs on Aug. 3, 2008. I posted this slide show because I haven't seen many postings of people who started their locs from this length. I started hers using the comb coil method. Hope it is helpful. I am new to the You Tube world and this is my first posting ever...I would apprieciate some feedback. Thanks :)

If you don't mind me asking how many locs does your daughter have? I'm planning on starting my 7 yo daughters locs and just trying to see what a "good" amount for her. Thanks bunches.

@ItsJustMeC She has seventy two locks. If I could do it again I would give her at least 90. I feel there's more styling options with more although she loves it she could care less.

@svfmiss1 At this time I believe I used prostyle black gel...but I wouldn't recommend using that now that I have more knowlege. I would use a lighter gel that washes out easier like queen helene styling gel. I only used the black gel that one time to start them. I used a comb to create the comb coils. Unfortunately I can't do a tutorial because my youngest daughter is locked and my oldest currently has braids but in the future when I take my oldest daughter's hair out I will show.
