John Schneider recorded it in 1985 (I know I'm being picky) on Tryin' To Outrun The Wind album. Gene Watson recorded it in 1984 on his Little By Little album both MCA and Wayne Kemp recorded it in 1983 on his Country Past Present and Future album for Door Knob records
