they've got a little floyd in them all right, but they are soooo much more, much more playful, more colorful, armonic, passionate & intense, their floyd influnce is undenniable, but they go beyond pink floyd,

...and absolutely has elements of Flyod in the One of These Days/Echoes kind of way. I think their whole show is Floyd-ish. Fantastic.

so Floyd-ish. Steven Drozd is a prodigy. fucking amazing band. theyve remained my nuymber one band since 98. seen all these bands 2 to 4 times and still hold the Lips Over Tool, NIN, radiohead....but i love those bands to death too, dont get me wrong. But the Lips are making music for the future. Gonna meet em in Ohio this May.
