This is me singing a French song called A la claire fonatine. This rendition is from the movie The Painted Veil. I recommend you see it!

I do not speak french and please forgive me for butchering this song.

I am looking for any and all constructive criticism here!!!!

thanks to all of you

  • oh wow i didn't know it was you singing it until i read the box. you have a great voice, you sound like an actual recording artist! no, your french isn't very good, but considering you don't speak french it's not bad at all.

  • you have a beautiful voice, but the french accent is very strong, sry... overall, its good

  • no, your french is not good, but you have a beautiful voice

  • There is a humming in the background that makes this sound delightfully eerie!

Besides that, this is very beautiful. The only version I've heard is sung at a faster tempo, and hearing it so soft and slow gives it a warm, bittersweet sadness, epitomizing the sadness of loss, or perhaps heartbreak. Perfect. :)
