I Gotta Feeling (Drum Piano Instrumental)

A very different Drum Cover of a piano cover of I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas using my own groove ideas.

I used a lot of cymbal ideas with stickings and some unison parts mostly over a simple bass drum pulse. Igradually worked the toms in with the cymbals, moved to a half time snare backbeat and finally a 2 & 4 back beat to finish.

The 8 little videos going at the same time at the end of this video will turn into active links to my other covers once those are uploaded. The music in the last 10 seconds is a preview of the next cover in the series which should be uploaded a week from now.

@jayham89 thanks justin! yeah the open handed stuff is fun and useful. its easy to do, just takes a bunch of time to get comfortable playing that way. you can do it if you put some practise into it.
