  • Cats know the outside is dangerous. That's why they always scurry away. But despite knowing the risks, they still want an adventurous life.

  • ALL large cats are endangered. There are very few of them left and very few to be able to breed without inbreeding. So anyone who says they should be shot because of overpopulation needs to read a book. A lot of very ignorant comments on here.

  • Take a deep breath, do actually research (this does not include every animal saving extremist terrorist group websites found on through google search) and realize that proper conservation includes harvesting renewable resources when needed.

  • It is never about the species, but always about an agenda. Snow owls were about not cutting down trees. The wolves were about killing of all the elk and deer so that hunters would have nothing to hunt. The sage grouse are about BLM grazing rights (but oops, now it is hurting the wind energy business=backfire!)

  • ALL large cats are NOT endangered. That is complete bull crap. I really don't care if you do or don't "condone' harvesting a renewable resource, but to say that ALL large cats are endangered is crap. I either don't believe you are in school for "animal care" (whatever the heck that is) or am appalled yet again at the blanket liberalism in educational facilities. You emotionally driven, uneducated, uninformed, liberal tree-hugging clowns are a pain in the butt to deal with.

  • @thatgirlcanfly1 Actually, try the Journal of Wildlife Management. Most of it is behind a pay wall, but you might have access through your school's library (assuming you are truly going to school.) Try International Union for Conservation of Nature, or fws.gov. As a wildlife biology major (and as I said before) I do not condone killing mountain lions "because they need killing," but to say all big cats are endangered is a false, blanket statement.

  • @rawhite78 sounds like your spewing something you read on wikipedia. Next time trying looking at reliable resources. Not something that can be changed and edited by any joe blow. Try reading a book, or google national geographic. If your going to regurgitate something, try making it useful and informed.

  • for the rest of the world...

the mountain lion can jump 3 meters with 45kg prey in its mouth

  • bad mother fucker police department :)

  • @thatgirlcanfly1 I'm sorry your research was so shoddy. Hopefully you received an appropriate grade. The mountains lions found in the united states (except the subspecies found in Florida, which indeed is endangered) are listed as species of least concern.

  • @rawhite78 ALL big cats are endangered. Im telling you, look it up. Im in school for animal care. I did a whole research assignment on this. Yes they are.

  • @thatgirlcanfly1 Wrong. Mountain lions are not endangered in the United States (though I'm not saying they should be shot.)
