i really h8t the idea that Arthas are a instance boss. whoud be bether if they w8t a bit more

He's not a normal instance boss, he's a raid boss in the last raid of the game. Just like Kil'jaeden in BC.

I'll be so pissed if some one downs Arthas within the first few weeks :( He should be almost impossible to beat

Rumor is that he hits for about 45k on plate consistently, that coupled with his other abilities tells me that he will be near impossible to beat in TotC gear, as most tanks have around 55k fully buffed.

Remember how Sylvanas says "Death to the Scourge, and death to the living!" If the Lich King loses control over the Scourge there will only be death to the living. However, that's a serious problem...

well my comment was mainly based on how the lich king is "killed" but then again you are right since Arthas's soul is bound to frostmourne when you think about it :o

It was Kil'Jaeden who imprisoned Ner'zhul's spirit in the frozen throne. The Burning Legion isn't involved in this case so I don't think Arthas will go the same way as Ner'zhul did.

Actually no Arthas wasn't going to kill everyone on azeroth since arthas's remaining humanity is keeping him from unleashing the scourge on azeroth. However there is 1 option to defeat the lich king without unleashing the scourge and that is to kill the lich where he was created. Meaning killing him in the Frozen Throne will end his rule. However if donning the helm was available then i guess Arthas will be the other spirit just as Ner'zhul was the other spirit when arthas donned the helm :o
