@ibanezplayer76 Guitar Center. It's not fake. Serial number is on the back of the head. I looked up on the Gibson website years ago.

Id still have to disagree with him. I've been touring for years and customized numerous guitars for people form bands and do all my own work. But it is what it is.

Hey man. That is most definitely not a SG Platinum. The Platinum series did not have a black headstock, or dots on the fret board. They also have an Ebony fingerboard. That appears to be rosewood. The came with a really nice silver Gibson case with the black interior and were made in 2002-2004. Someone obliviously took an SG special and put platinum parts on it and painted it silver. Either that or they effed up a real Platinum and put a whole bunch of bullshit on it.

@Danielclyde No. A specialist did not tell me this. Some employee that knew what he was talking about told me to go to A SPECIALIST. My SG's body is not the same width as any other SG. You would have to see how oddly thin it is. So I didn't get ripped off.
