For 50 years Ama Kong used ancient practices to tame wild elephants. Now he's turned his talents to new endeavours. With the help of his buffalo horn, Ama is able to hypnotise elephants into submission. But since the capture of elephants was banned, another of Ama's talents has emerged. His knowledge of jungle plants has allowed him to develop medicinal potions. His best seller? A natural Viagra which has caused hundreds to journey to his remote hillside tribe. And with 21 children of his own, Ama testifies to the potency of his magic herbs.

  • So much to learn from people like this,..I live in SE Asia and I see more and more foriegn influences eroding away at the culture...There needs to be some kind of global exchange study in schools, especially for western children, so that they can come and see what life is like in these communities...They may not have the latest gadgets, new cars, new clothes or even the drugs and health care of the west but they have love and kindness for their elders and children which blows you away.

  • Your a marine.

Way more likely than a civilian to be brainwashed. In fact if you are in the military you are supposed to be brainwashed. If you looked at the world objectively you wouldn't even be in there.

In Afghanistan and Iraq it is well documented that Americans were trying to convert the populace and hand out bibles. In Mongolia due to the influx of American money and businessmen, missionaries also tag along.

I'm so sorry I am ever less brainwashed than you soldier.

  • im a viet-american imma help vietnam in the future

  • @discoverydavid this is true.. however it's the new gadgets and the youth's exposure to the extremely widespread and potent western media that erodes at this culture. shows like this, featuring alternative cultures must be presented on a wide scale to combat the inherently assimilatory nature of the west's culture

  • interesting language i hear some khmer some thai and other influences

  • ông già nói tiếng viêt pha dân tộc. người ngoài khó nghe lắm

  • Whats the recipe...?

  • Only 80 elephants remained in 2008 so, fewer remains up to now 2011, so it must a quarter. Hunting wild animals and chopping forest trees are national troubles under Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The communism regime in Vietnam has never got any prevention and approaches to protect the wild environment. Like delinquents, Rangers even have a share of wild environment destruction for their mutual benefits of wild animals and forest woods.
