@si1vermane I'm not whining, young friend. I'm stating a valid opinion. Yes, Peter still flips the occasional line, but you can't deny that his rebuttal game is much less sharp than it once was. Plus the fact that he hardly ever battles over a beat anymore (again, due to GT) means that as viewers we don't get to see the energy & fast-paced spontaneity of a FREESTYLE battle like this one
For fuck's sake, he had to look at his Blackberry for lines in his GT battle against Mac Lethal

i miss thesaurus when he actually freestyled...when he had the crazy energy, the stamina, the effortless flow, the instantaneous flips and rebuttals...I think that all the weed and the money he made from acapella battling made him fat and lazy and complacent...the focus now on prewritten, prerehearsed battle verses in GrindTime and elsewhere has robbed us of seeing battles of this hype level of quality.
