Mike Parker is smart. He understands the two-tier system is a disaster for the union leaders. The whole union thing is a disaster, basically. Workers would be better off without the union -- the more they cost the company to have around, the less job security they have.

Management decisions and technological stagnation are bankrupting auto. Your scapegoating attempt just doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Prior to the 2007 UAW contract, labor costs per vehicle (including pension & health care benefits) amounted to 10% of total production costs. Where did that other 90% go? Now, new hirers earn LESS THAN NON-UNION PLANTS in the South and receive no pension, no health care.
