This is my ongoing Rat Bike project. It's probably never going to be done as there is always something I can do to add to it's ratty look! The best part about a Rat Bike is that you never have to wash or polish the bike and I hate washing motorcycles. I started with a 1977 Harley FXS lowrider frame, did the impossible and did an engine swap from a shovelhead to a 100 in Evolution motor while keeping the pogo-seat working. Just look at some of the pictures of the close tolerances I had to deal with. Also, I changed the old FX 4 speed transmission out and went with a 6 speed softail transmission. I built this bike just as you see it with the ratty bags, ratty seat, leaking oil, rust, and dents. Yet it's got great tires, good brakes, and runs like new, a real sleeper! Isn't it beautiful? Please leave a comment. Thanks for looking and ride safe.
