This is an essential RTS to buy if you have a PC... but Im' not too sure about the 360 version... if anybody has played this game, could you let me know what you thought of it? ONCE you got into the game cause I know I'll probably dislike it at first.

The 360 version is fun, but can't compare to the PC version, I don't own either version any longer, so I can't comment on the state of the online community, but when i played online, this game was great on both systems

the 360 verson is very good too.

but i think it would be better if you could create your own hero-like on the pc.

it isn't a mainpoint but i think little things make the big different.

And in my opionion it would be cool if you could create your own battlefield or your own castle for example.

Normaly i don't speak english but i hope there not (to) much mistakes ;).

All in all it is a good game and it makes fun.

@dager925 its been a long time since that comment, i've gotten better at the game, now.

also, i think my main problem was, that i was giving the enemy control of huge forts, so they had a ton of power and a huge advantage over me, while i was still learning the game.

I have found where to put your costum maps. AppData/Roaming/The Battle For Middle Earth Maps. but  "AppData" is a hidden file. You ll have to search for AppData. (Windows Vista).

i thought this game would be a bit easier, but goddamn is it difficult...

warlords battlecry 3 and rise of legends are both easier than this... i can actually win at them.

but this game... the ONLY way i can win is if i play at helm's deep with the enemy trapped inside of the castle...

they made the AI way too aggressive, i cant use allies because they swarm and destroy the enemy before i have a chance to build anything...

if i dont have em, i get crushed instantly...

@dxskatepwns For me, this game is simply the best RTS of all time, and the best LOTR game. If you like RTS, you MUST have it.
