  • Since "Sanford and Son" is available on DVD nowadays, it would be nice if Sony Pictures Home Entertainment would release "Sanford" and "Grady", two spin-offs of S&S on DVD.

  • miss this show ido it was good but also missed Lamont

  • @panamaniak I agree with you, is is sad indeed. Perhaps S&S would have been successful for a few more seasons and they could have "tied up all loose ends" and ended it on a pleasant note. But that wasn't to be.

  • I for one found this show to be equally as good as the S&S series. Redd Foxx can head a show by himself. He is that good.

Why didn't God make the fart smell like coffee...that way if your spouse farted in the morning, you'd think breakfast was ready - Redd Foxx

  • Sanford and Redneck

  • Esther was in a two part episode where she and Fred had to travel back to Fremont, Missouri to have an annulment because it was discovered while Fred was looking for Elizabeth's will, they came upon Fred's marriage certificate and both Fred and Esther found out they were legally married due to a mistake on Esther & Elizabeth's part. Elizabeth signed on the line where it said "Witness" and Esther signed the "Bride" line.

  • This never had the magic like the original. Without Lamont, Esther, Grady, Bubba, etc. it just wasn't there. It was like the Carol Burnette show. . .without all of them together it was destined to fail.

  • Sanford & Rollo

  • Sanford and... White Guy?

  • Just wasn't the same without Lamont to be the butt of Fred's jokes.
