The runway is slightly tilted. Delta H between start/end is ~ 3 mm (lower).

The board (balsa ~5mm) is stiff enough for the roller weight, it doesn't bend during the travel.

sorry now I see the gate was not under the board but on the sides, nevermind!

is that board flexible or stiff? to be proper it should be stiff (as a board!) so that no flexing is coming into play. If it flexes then with the magnet underneath it may flex differently. You don't want to fool yourself!
