911 police officer refuses to help girl who calls about her dying father and she gets jailed

In Lincoln Park, Michigan, a 17-year-old called 911 when her father (recovering at home from brain surgery) had a seizure. Her first call didn't go through, so the panicked girl hung up and tried again. While the phone was still ringing, the girl said "what the fuck." Apparently 911 calls are recorded even while the phone is ringing, so the police officer heard her say it. When the officer answered the call, he was only interested in the fact that the girl said "fuck" and wouldn't help the girl. Instead, he swears at her and hangs up.

After the girl places several more calls to 911 trying to explain that her father was about to die, the officer finally called the fire department with a fabricated version of what happened.

Eventually, the girl gets arrested and jailed by the police for a crime that isn't on the books

I am an Emergency Telecommunicator and I would like to know this communicators name, who he works for and what disciplinary actions have been taken against him. He put someones life in jeopardy!!! We are taught to ignore insignificant issues such as cursing and focus on what matters. A POSSIBLE LIFE THREAT!!! This makes ME wanna curse!!!

@DeadlyMixKrew ...in the lobby how out of control the kid was and how he was resisting. I spoke up and told the parents the real story and gave them my number incase they end up needing a witness for anything. The mom flipped out on the police. It felt good but I wouldn't advise anyone do it unless you live out of this area.

They hate me. I watched 5 of them arrest a skinny little 13 or 14 year old kid for smoking and slam him around like he was a 300lb man resisting arrest (which he wasn't). I parked the truck to watch so they knew they had a witness (hoping that'd get them to ease up on him). They sent one of the officers over to me to inspect my work truck and find a reason to ticket me. I went to the station after work to file a complaint and when I got there there they had the kid's parents there telling them..

@excessvidz k, what's wrong with you? Did you not see the vid? This guy HUNG UP on a girl trying to save her father's life. This girl was scared! Don't you think you'd be cursing if someone you had known since you were born was dying and the only thing you could do iwas call 911 and someone wasn't helping you? This guy wasn't saving lives, and the ambulance is TOLD where to go.
