The event will start with a Kick Off Rally at 450 Wilkes-Barre Blvd, Wilkes-Barre PA. The group held a rally and then passed out "Informational Handouts" to help educate people about The Cooper Tires Lockout, and how it has affected thousands of jobs.

The Cooper Tire Company recently locked out 1,050 workers in Findlay, Ohio. President Joe Padavan of USW Local 15253 Wilkes-Barre, stated, "The lock out may be in Ohio, but the fight is everywhere Cooper Tire does business. We want to make sure the Scranton Wilkes-Barre community has information about what is happening to good trained workers who have been locked out of their jobs. These men and women offered to stay on the job as contract negotiations moved forward, but the company kicked its workers out

  • wow your good: Indonesia’s abundant rubber supply and its price upswing make the world tire manufacturers eyeing the country, moreover, as the country’s rubber demand is relatively small. (BLOOMBERG/COOPER TIRE & RUBBER) Is it possible that would be topical also? Do you just like to pick on people? What different does is make. They stold Thousands of Jobs from these workers, after they gave up a lot to put that plant back on its feet. I guess that is fair. I think you would be upset also.
