Thats a Diddly bow! A cigarebox guitar has more strings =) One string sounds fun though, i wonder what could be possible to play on that thing

reminds me of that Japanese instrument they pick but i cant think of the name of it. I think its gonna be fun to play one. I ordered a nice one from ebay.. maybe try and make one myself one day.. ya never know..

Yes, I believe that is a conventional guitar string, but don't recall which one. Maybe D or G.
