  • 4:50 little green men like phish too.

  • @jjpme92un many people have discussed the dangers of becoming very knowledgeable and how it can lead to a cynical, elitist attitude. I would say reading Montaigne would help anybody deal with this crazy world in a more efficient, intelligent manner because his book (the complete essays) is probably the greatest collection of wisdom ever assembled by a single human being. He influenced and was loved by Shakespeare, Nietzsche, and Emerson- and every other great mind of the last 400 years

  • @tristramshandy3 don't know how I got the idea you're a girl; and yes it's good that you are smarter than the average bear but sometimes arrogance and an elitist attitude comes along w/ soo much book learnin'... and why do you think that reading Montaigne's essays would improve my life??

  • @jjpme92un I'm a dude, and yes, I do think I am smarter than most people (most Americans don't even read, so what chance do they got bitches?). I read a lot and threw out my tv 20 years ago. If you read 1,000 books of classical literature, history, and philosophy, you'll be really smart too. Don't be hatin' on people that work hard for what they got, dig?

Free your mind and your ass will follow-

    ancient p-funk proverb

  • @tristramshandy3 are you some kind of spoiled elitest stoner girl who thinks they are more educated and enlightened than most?

  • @jjpme92un whatever. Read montaigne's essays- your life will improve by 12%.

  • @tristramshandy3 well that's a good thing that the Dead didn't or couldn't play Enjoy Yourself or whatever... I've seen Phish a few times years ago and just couldn't really get into them mainly due to their overall silliness... like what you will aye... I'd go see Umphrey's anyday rather then be surrounded by silly Phish heads - ha ha - but just may see them again if I make it to Outside Lands this August... hmmm...

  • @jjpme92un they are better musicians than the dead- and the silly lyrics reflect a time in our society when there wasn't a strong social movement- a movement that the dead captured, and that there superior lyrics reflect. Phish could cover ANY dead song to perfection. The dead couldn't have played You Enjoy Myself in their wet dreams. Take care. Life is the best!

  • @tristramshandy3 pHish is far sillier than my opinions! ;)

  • @jjpme92un de gustibus non est disputandum. You are entitled to your tastes, and I am entitled to think they are silly. I am an English teacher, I don't need your spelling correctionz.

Viva Montaigne- the greatest man to ever be published.
