Oh come the fuck on.. lol. I own a 96 Maxima with the VQ30DE; bone stock it's NOTHING compared to this one. This maxima has SOMETHING done to it.

I also own a 98 Volvo S70 GLT Turbo; and that has some damn good power to it. Alot more than my Maxima; not just boost confusion :)

Maximas are awesome. If I could, I'd get another Dark Green SE 5 speed. Those are SEXY. V70 turbos suck, especially GLT turbos. Those actually catch fire after about 160k. I stick with 850s. They have different turbos & are a little lighter than V70s. 850s are more along the same level as Maximas. I like both cars (and Subaru Legacies) because they aren't for boy racers, they don't get attention from the law, & they aren't over-hyped like Hondas (though those little bastards are pretty quick!)

I used to drive a 97 Volvo V70GLT for a company car and I enjoyed a lot about the car. It seemed to be the fastest of the V70 series even after they went to the new body style. My only issue was the smell of the turbo when it got hot. It was the car that led me to by a Maxima in the first place. I didn't want a turbo but I wanted a car that had the same performance characteristics, therefore, I have enjoyed the Maxima as well especially because it is NA.
