I'm sure that Hank Locklin would have approved of Janie's rendition of this song. She really puts a lot of heart into it and if I could find it on a CD, I would buy it just for this song. She did a Christmas special with the Statler Brothers years ago where she sang "Away in a Manger" and it brought tears to my eyes. Would love to see someone post that song if it is available. I'd rather be able to go see a Janie Fricke performance than any other female country artist and that's going some.
